Track/Location:  Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, Driver Development Track (DDT), Bowmanville, ON.  The DDT is home to the Bridgestone Racing Academy.  Perfect training facility – large exercise area, skidpad, and multi-configurable 3km multi-elevation training track.  Track provider is Viper Club of Ontario & Ontario Chrysler, supported by DriveTeq.

Event Date:  August 20, 2017 (Sunday)

Event Format:  1-Day event; 3 group format (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced); lots of track time /day.  Controlled passing in designated areas with a signal/point-by.  Program designed to safely introduce Novice drivers to the track through classroom discussion, skills development exercises, and on-track training.  Intermediate and Advanced drivers will evaluated and coached to meet each driver’s needs.

Programs:

Novice Program – In-car coaching

1. Classroom Theory – understanding the fundamentals of car control
2. Supervised In-car Practise – experiencing car control and exploring your limits
3. Skills Focus – Vision, grip, car dynamics, braking, cornering and skid control.

Intermediate Program – Available coaching

1. Review & discussion with a coach
2. Lots of track time with like drivers
3. Practise advanced driving techniques like visual vectoring, multi-input steering, G. loading, trail-steering, transitioning, and heel & toe shifting

Advanced Program – Independent Study

1. Expectation of true advanced drivers to allow for maximum benefits of driving and training
2. Lots of track time with like drivers

Cost:  $450 (plus HST=$508.50*) with group instruction.  Payment in advance by interac transfer or cheque to DriveTeq.
