TRACK/LOCATION: Barber Motorsports Park & Museum, Leeds, Alabama. Opened in 2003, has a 17-turn, 3.83 km (2.38-mile) road course, designed by Alan Wilson (Calabogie). The track direction is clockwise. The layout is compact, with a number of elevation changes. Site is home to the 230,000-square-foot Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum. Space is limited. Track provider is Chin Track Days.

Note: Second leg of a 3-track road trip over 7 days to Road Atlanta (2-days), Barber Motorsports Park (1-day) and Virginia International Raceway (2-days).

Package Inclusions: Track fee; group coaching for SOLO Intermediate and Advanced drivers by one of our professional coaches; accommodation from Thursday-Saturday nights; trackside snacks and drinks. Pre-departure briefing/update including equipment requirements; general event logistics support; convoy support if you travel with us; alternate route travel options.
Additional Info: We provide an experience/adventure program. We employ consistent professional coaching techniques and curriculum. We add to your safety at the track and WE HAVE FUN!
Travel Info: Estimate 3 hours (300kms) driving from Road Atlanta, all inter-state.
Event Format: 2-Day event; 3 run groups, about 3.5 hrs daily track time
Accommodation: In Birmingham, Alabama and in reasonable proximity to track.
DriveTeq Cost: $3100, no coaching or $4000, one day of coaching. Please speak with us regarding auto transport, if required.
Enclosed Vehicle Transport: Service provided by TFX International from its depot in Etobicoke. Cost is based on a payload of 6 street-plated vehicles traveling to both Road Atlanta, Barber, and VIR. Drivers transporting via TFX will not have to obtain a carnet customs document (think vehicle passport). Un-plated, off-road vehicles cannot be mixed with plated on this load.
Exclusions: Generally anything not included is excluded. More specifically, your gas, equipment transport, personal transportation, meals, accommodation on the way to and from the track.
Registration Process:
- At bottom of this page, select your appropriate driver training group and complete the Booking process;
- You will receive a “Booking Pending” email;
- On our approval, a “Booking Confirmed” email will be delivered with event details, total remittance amount, and payment instructions (interac e-transfer or cheque); and
- Payment to DriveTeq will complete the registration process.
Terms & Conditions:
- Technical inspection – TBA.
- SNELL/Current helmets are mandatory. HANS devices, fireproof clothing, shoes and gloves are recommended.
